Just got word from Mike at Pedalshop that the 2006 Kona Explosif frame I ordered as a birthday gift for my girl is on its way to the shop. This will be her first single speed mountain bike, and she is psyched! With Dedacciai steel tubing and adjustable dropouts, this is going to be one sweet ride. Also included is a second set of drops with an attached derailleur hanger, but I'm pretty sure these will never see dirt.Have to start scrounging parts for the build. Good thing I have an extra wheelset collecting dust and a couple stems laying around. With any luck, it'll be up and running for the weekend. Yee-ha!
